I downloaded and installed the latest Gallery script this evening. I had been putting it off for far too many months because I had thought I lost all of my data during “the Great Data Loss of 2005″ when my old web host had suffered from a failed drive in my server… and I won’t get into the details again.

To make a long story short - I lost my old Gallery database, and I thought that as a result I had lost all of the comments, folders, albums, organization - all the hours that I put in to upload, sort, and categorize my photos.

Apparently not because - holy crap! It works!

Gallery - it rocks! I went through the setup and realized that there was a Gallery1 import module. I figured it was worth a try… And it SO was.

The gallery is back ONLINE! Enjoy!!!
