		<description>We had the same problem.  5 or more question marks &quot;?&quot; inserted throughout web.config on 2 site on the same webserver.  no idea how this happened.  But your theory is a good one.  We don&#039;t usually access web.config through IIS.  But maybe it got access that way.  Or maybe our Ektron CMS implementation and the eSync program caused some corruption in web.config.  I have a backup copy now...we&#039;ll wait to see if it happens again and try to gain moer data for analysis.</description>
