Why is this here? What have I been doing?

In an attempt to finally get some "formal training", to iron out any rough skills that I may have, and to learn a few new things I've started taking classes (again) at Sessions.edu : Online School of Design.

To round out my skill skill set a bit more, I've decided to go for a "Web Design Master's Certificate" with concentrations in Flash & E-Commerce.

I had created this little site as an assignment for one of my classes the first time I had started classes at Sessions.edu back in 2003. I found the code in an old site backup and decided to resurrect it. I'm working on updating the content with all of the new classes and cleaning up the code to make it better than just HTML 4.01 transitional compliant.

The Basics:

Start date: 22 June, 2007
Certificate Requirements: 9 courses, 1 elective, 2 concentrations, & 1 portfolio on certification completion.

My previously completed classes are being credited towards this new certificate. That means that I'll ultimately end up completing more classes than required for this certificate. In addition, they threw in a free class as as part of a promotion!

Also note that I add my comments about the classes as I take them. Be aware that several of the classes may have been updated since I've taken them, so my comments may no longer be pertinent to their content or teachings.
